Why did I start this site? Who is funding it?
Just me.
Of course, the content is being provided by many others.
I felt a need for a place where real, authentic, genuine coastsiders could post their opinions. I don’t have to agree with what they say, but I do get to choose who says it.
My name is Mary Bordi. I have been known as the mail lady and Bud’s Mom and lately, Grammy.
I’ve lived in San Mateo County all my life, and that’s over half a century. My great grandparents settled at San Gregorio in the 1880s and two of their great-great-great-grandchildren live there with their family today.
Me, I live about seven miles from La Honda in an area so remote that cable and DSL are not available. The Bordi family has lived here for nearly a century.
